BYD Cebu Group Officially Launches the Largest BYD Showroom in the Philippines: BYD Cebu Central

Just one year after opening its first showroom in the Visayas on April 29, 2024, with the launch of BYD Cebu North in A.S. Fortuna, Banilad, Mandaue City, the BYD Cebu Group marks a significant milestone with the grand opening of BYD Cebu Central, now the largest BYD showroom in the Philippines.

Strategically located along J. de Veyra Street in the North Reclamation Area of Carreta, Cebu City, BYD Cebu Central spans a massive 6,500 square meters, making it the most expansive showroom under BYD Philippines to date. This flagship showroom is fully equipped to serve customers with comprehensive facilities and services, including its very own BYD Café operated by homegrown brand Steer & Stir Café, offering a complete experience that extends beyond vehicle sales.

This opening signals a bold new era for the BYD Cebu Group as they continue to lead in the local EV market. On the same day as BYD Cebu Central's official launch, the group is also formally inaugurating two other showrooms — BYD Cebu IL Corso and BYD Ayala Center Cebu, both of which have been in soft-opening mode over the past few months.

BYD CEBU GROUP: A Year of Rapid Growth

Since officially entering the Cebu market in April 2024, the BYD Cebu Group began its journey with four core models: Dolphin, ATTO 3, Han, and Tang. In just a year, the lineup has significantly expanded to include the Sealion 6 DM-i, Seagull, Seal Performance, Seal 5 DM-i, Shark 6 DMO, and the newest addition — the eMAX 7, BYD’s latest entry into the MPV segment.

From a single showroom, the group has rapidly grown to four locations, with more on the horizon. All showrooms also have their own in-house cafés, with BYD Cebu North, BYD Ayala Center Cebu, and BYD Cebu Central operated by Steer & Stir Café. Meanwhile, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is ready to serve locals at BYD Cebu IL Corso.

Through its Charge Forward initiative and the national Philippine EV Spine program, AC Mobility aims to power over 35 strategic locations across the Visayas by the end of 2025. With charge points already live at Ayala Center Cebu, Il Corso, and up to Bantayan and Camotes Islands, the network is designed to give EV drivers dependable access, whether they’re navigating urban centers or exploring island destinations.
